Three Italian acts from completely different corners of the spectrum have joined forces—MASTER BOOT RECORD, FULCI, and AROTTENBIT will unleash their sonic arsenal on December 5, 2026 in Prague at Futurum and on December 9, 2026 in Bratislava at Randal. MASTER BOOT RECORD is a phenomenon of its own. The project, led by Roman producer Victor Love, fuses heavy metal riffing and neoclassical structures with the aesthetics of vintage computers and the demoscene. Forget the traditional concept of a band—MBR creates sound from chips and synthesizers that feel like your old 486 processor suddenly started compiling J. S. Bach symphonies through massive distortion. As their recent releases on Metal Blade Records prove, chiptune can hit just as hard as classic thrash. Live, this digital apocalypse is enhanced by live drums and guitar, adding an incredible organic punch to the set.

FULCI, on the other hand, represent the old school of guitar-driven brutality. Named after legendary horror director Lucio Fulci, the band delivers uncompromising, mid-tempo death metal packed with massive groove and drenched in the atmosphere of films like Zombi 2. What sets them apart is their intelligent use of ’80s-style synthesizers, creating cinematic and ominous layers inspired by composer Fabio Frizzi. These seamlessly transition into crushing riffs and diseased growls on stage. Albums like Tropical Sun and Duck Face Killings are textbook examples of how to fuse gore aesthetics with old school death metal into a cohesive whole.

Rounding out the lineup is AROTTENBIT. If you’re expecting cheerful Nintendo melodies, you’re in for a rude awakening. This is boosted 8-bit sludge, driven by modified Game Boy consoles pushed through heavy bass amps. The Italian one-man project delivers sonic filth and walls of noise filled with suffocating atmosphere. It’s raw, slow, and uncompromising—a deep dive into digital sludge that perfectly bridges experimental electronics with the feel of the heaviest metal subgenres.
