Greek stoner rock icons 1000mods are returning to Prague and Bratislava. Expect honest, desert-scorched stoner rock and uncompromising fuzz from one of the bands that helped shape the modern European heavy scene. No extra talk, just pure energy and volume — coming on October 7 and 8.

Since forming in the village of Chiliomodi in 2006, the quartet has come a long way. Their 2011 debut Super Van Vacation instantly became a classic and a cornerstone of the genre, proving that stoner rock could thrive far beyond the Californian desert. 1000mods built their name on organic sound, analog production, and a gift for writing riffs that stay with you for weeks. From the psychedelic haze of Vultures to the rawer, more direct approach of Repeated Exposure To..., they have firmly held their place as one of the hardest-working bands on the continent.

Their sound is driven by thunderous bass lines and towering walls of guitar, echoing the spirit of Kyuss or Sleep while carrying a distinct European sense of melody. Songs like “Vidage” and “Low” have become anthems that hit like a steamroller in a live setting. At Prague’s Futurum and Bratislava’s Randal, this will be all about the physical force of loud music and honest craftsmanship — no gimmicks, no unnecessary glitter.

Grim Rhythm are a filthy rock’n’roll trio from Melbourne, delivering a raw, unpolished sound with no unnecessary frills. Since their beginnings around 2011, they have built a cult status on the Australian underground scene, whether through their debut What Do You Know About Rock ’N’ Roll or more recent material surrounding Forever Eating Shit. Their style is built on wild riffs, grit, relentless drive, and an energy that feels a world away from anything sterile.
